Biography
Hello, my name is Drisana and I am 20 years old. My whole life I have been in front of the camera, as a child and as an aspiring model. However, it was only recently that I discovered my passion for being behind the camera. Wherever I go I have a camera on hand, ready to whip it out and record whatever interests me at the time. I love editing my videos. The feeling I get after publishing that finished product on YouTube is absolutely amazing. Whenever there is a new editing program I can get my hands on, I love spending all day figuring it out and learning all the fun little quirks of each program. Lately, slow motion has been my focus. I recently discovered the Slow Motion effect and I am quite in love with it.
I volunteer at the Library of Congress for their Veteran's First program, where we record veterans telling us about their experience to keep a real record of the wars. It's a very interesting and rewarding experience.
I've recently re-discovered my love of my Minolta 33mm SLR camera, and have taken that up again. It's nice to have a negative to work with and a limited amount of pictures that you can take per roll of film. It really makes you appreciate the quality of the photo all the more. I've also been looking into upgrading from my Flip Mino to something a little more heavy duty. However, I don't know what I want yet.
Recently, a good friend of my let me borrow her DSLR and I've been running rampant taking photos of anything and everything. It has a great macro lense and so now I've been able to take photos of the creepy crawlies that I wouldn't dare get anywhere near. Some of my photos can be seen on the photography page.
